Opening a trade

Opening a Tap Trade starts with a market, direction, margin, and leverage.

Trade preview

The trade preview shows notional size, estimated liquidation level, fees, quote status, and risk checks before submission.

Open lifecycle

  1. The user selects Up or Down.
  2. The app requests a fresh quote and market status.
  3. The trade engine validates profile, terms, balance, leverage, quote freshness, and risk limits.
  4. The session key signs the open intent.
  5. The relayer submits the transaction to PaperTrade.
  6. The indexer records the protocol event and updates the app state.
