What is Purp Trade?
Purp Trade is a social Tap Trades app for fast long and short exposure. Users sign in with a phone number, fund an embedded wallet, authorize a scoped session key, and open PaperTrade-powered positions from a live trading surface.
Core product
Purp Trade turns high-leverage perp exposure into a focused Tap Trades experience. The main action is simple: choose a market, choose Up or Down, set size and leverage, then manage the position from a live chart.
The app wraps PaperTrade execution with account onboarding, realtime balance state, social activity, profile identity, and clear trade receipts.
Execution model
Tap Trades use PaperTrade execution. PaperTrade creates synthetic positions against its LP and prices entry and close actions from Hyperliquid BBO midpoint data.
Purp Trade does not present a traditional orderbook. The trading screen is built around fast direction, size, leverage, live PnL, liquidation distance, and final settlement state.
