Gateway
The gateway tracks mids, BBO, spreads, timestamps, candles, quote health, and market availability.
Display versus authority
The chart renderer smooths display motion locally. That smoothing affects only presentation. Quotes, opens, closes, PnL settlement, and liquidation checks use authoritative backend and protocol data.
